Most jewellery retailers have the same problem: thousands of products, minimal data. The manufacturer sends a spreadsheet with a model number, a name, and a price. The retailer needs a complete product listing — title, description, specifications, SEO copy, alt text — for every item, across dozens of brands, updated regularly.
Doing this manually is not viable at scale. The pipelines I build automate it.
How the Pipeline Works
Starting from minimal ERP or POS data (typically just brand, MPN, and price), the pipeline: fetches official brand data from manufacturer APIs or scrapes; enriches with AI-generated descriptions, specifications, and SEO copy; validates against the brand’s own asset library; and pushes complete, formatted records to Shopify or WooCommerce via API.
For brands like Seiko, Longines, Nomination, Daniel Wellington, and Raymond Weil — all brands I have built scrapers for — this means a retailer can go from a stock list to a fully-described, SEO-ready catalogue in hours rather than weeks.
What This Means for Your Store
Complete product data has a direct commercial impact. Products with full specifications convert better. Products with rich descriptions rank better. Products with accurate stock data via POS sync have fewer customer service issues.
The pipeline is not a one-off script. It is infrastructure: maintained, monitored, and updated as brands release new collections.
